Feminin Pluriel Geneva is pleased to open the New Year on emotional detox under the theme of “Resilience” from noon to 2pm Hôtel Le Richemond Rue Adhémar-Fabri 8-10, 1201 Genève

Born in Belgium and living in Switzerland, Alexia Michiels is co-founder of the Resilience Institute Europe. After getting a degree in Economics and Consular Sciences, she worked for 10 years in marketing and media. She then lived in China for 5 years where she trained and became a certified professional coach and yoga teacher. She met Dr. Sven Hansen – founder of the Resilience Institute – and joined his team. Impressed by this approach both holistic and factual, she understood that Resilience should be fostered on a daily basis by mobilizing all our resources : the body, the heart, the mind and the spirit. Today, in many countries, she supports people and organizations who wish to develop their resilience skills and thus be ready to meet the challenges of a changing world with joy and success.
Alexia Michiels is the author of the book “L’Elan de la Resilience” (editions FAVRE, 2017).

Nathalie Pochon Riesen, an expert in helping victims of toxic relationships, seems to have lived several lives. Formerly an elite athlete, she began her career in banking, then in 2001, she founded “Tout Feu, tout Flamme”, a creative candle company,  which is rapidly becoming a huge success. The adventure lasted fifteen years. Her life changed in 2008 when she decided to give herself a break by walking 900 km alone on the road to Compostela. The following period was both exhilarating and challenging . Nathalie had to face a painful experience and was recognized as a victim of domestic violence in 2012. Nathalie is now very committed and shares her experience with other victims in order to accompany them on the path of resilience, thanks to her mastery of the tools essential to professional coaching. Benevolence, listening and empathy are the key words of her approach. It is important for her to encourage her clients to accept their situation in order to reveal themselves, learn to respect themselves and finally reclaim their identity. Her graduation work, completed in June 2018, was on the subject of “Children and teenager victims – Axes and support framework”. She lives and works in Geneva and regularly speaks in the media.
