Cécile VIDAL, Meeting with a plural woman

Cécile welcomes us to La Noyeraie des Borderies, a family farm located near Cognac. The Vidal family, farmers in Charente since 1848, embarked in the 80s on an unprecedented adventure in the heart of the Borderies vineyard. Their ambition is to produce and process walnuts of exceptional quality to supply the greatest tables throughout France. During a visit that will take us from the walnut orchard to the processing workshop, you will discover the know-how of this small team which has succeeded in making virgin walnut oil from the Noyeraie des Borderies a real Charentais specialty! Strongly invested in the promotion of the agricultural world, Cécile was also elected to the Chamber of Agriculture where she manages projects related to short distribution circuits, in particular the “Think Local 16” approach, and chairs an association of farmers, “Agriculture and Charente Tourism”.

Cécile, who was not initially destined for a career as a farmer, developed her professional expertise around human resources. As an engineer graduated from AgroParisTech, she began her career in the food industry, and then accumulated a solid experience of 15 years as a director of HR in business in France and abroad. In 2018, she chose to “go back to basics” to set up her own HR consulting firm, which also allowed her to partner with her father on the farm. For her clients all over France, she works as a professional coach, HR consultant and trainer to support managers in the development of their leadership skills. She is recognized for her qualities as a coach and her operational and humanistic view of companies.

– Visit of the Noyeraie des Borderies, from the walnut harvest to its processing;

– Tasting of the products from the production with possibility of purchase on site (credit card, check and cash accepted);

– Discussion with Cécile Vidal, a plural woman, who is either manager, consultant, coach and who wanted to retrain;

– Aperitif dinner, exclusively composed of products from the Noyeraie and local products.
