Not very long ago it was normal to refer to paper to find our way from A to B. Nowadays this is unthinkable and thanks to technology. This technology was pioneered by TomTom, the company co-founded by Corinne Vigreux in 1991. TomTom created the first stand-alone navigating advice, with its own touchscreen facilities. Corinne was appointed Managing Director of the Consumer Division. Corinne is one of Europe’s most successful entrepreneurs, and it is one of the most successful companies in the world. TomTom faced in recent years.

 

Corinne Vigreux is a Co-Founder of TomTom, the navigator and map-making company that continues to design and develop the world’s leading edge technologies. Voted as one of the top fifty most inspirational women in European tech (www.inspiringfifty.com), Corinne champions women in the workforce and passionately advocates for social mobility through education. She has just founded Codam (www.codam.nl), a not for profit coding college based on the famous School 42 curriculum and ethos. Codam opens its doors in September 2018 in the heart of Amsterdam. Corinne is a member of the supervisory board of takeaway.com NV and ILIAD Group in France, member of the supervisory board of the Dutch National Opera & Ballet and advisor to the Amsterdam Economic Board.She is chair on the trustee board of the Sofronie foundation (www.sofronie.org). Corinne was made Knight of the Legion of Honor in 2012 and knighted in the Royal Order of Orange-Nassau in 2016.
