Féminin Pluriel Luxembourg is delighted to receive Hedva Ser, artist, sculptor and UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador and Special Envoy for Cultural Diplomacy, Chevalier des Arts et des lettres et Chevalier de la Légion d’Honneur as well as member of Féminin Pluriel. The dinner held in her honor will take place on Sunday, October 6th, 2019.
Ms. Hedva Ser was designated UNESCO Special Envoy for Cultural Diplomacy in 2017, in recognition of her commitment to dialogue of cultures and social inclusion as a vehicle for a culture of peace. Féminin Pluriel Luxembourg members will get a special preview into the stories of this most fascinating and talented woman, thus exploring her passions and debating her challenges as well as the meaning behind her works of art, the latter having made the object of an acquisition by the Luxembourgish government. 

Since her first term as a UNESCO Artist for Peace in 2011, Hedva Ser participates to the Organization’s mission with her work as an artist and her role as a godmother to various artistic projects. Her sculpture “the Tree of Peace” symbolizes peace between peoples and understanding between nations. She inaugurated many of these monumental pieces around the world, including in Paris, New York City, Tel-Aviv, Philadelphia and Malta.
