Our next Brussels event will take place thursday 9th may at Tero Restaurant in Saint-Gilles.

His efforts to restore nature on the Domaine de Graux have been rewarded with numerous awards including the Wild Life Estate. Who is she ? Élisabeth Simon is a dynamic and bubbly young woman, economist by training, having started her career in finance and who, one day, takes over the family domain to make it an agro-ecological farm.

Friend of Pierre Rabbhi, Elisabeth is driven by the passion to prepare the agriculture of tomorrow, agriculture free of fossil fuels. She has redesigned and transformed her estate, located near Tournai, into a place of respect for nature, animals and farmers. The agro-ecological farm in Graux is grassland and organic fields, trees and ponds, hedges and animals raised with respect, complementarities between all and humans happy to have found the link with the nature, our deep nature.

To diversify production and increase the processing of products on the farm or with artisans in the region, the farm includes producers involved in the project, organized in interdependent micro-farms. They are required to work together on the Graux lands in a suitable legal framework.

Elisabeth Simon will tell us about her project with all the enthusiasm she is capable of, shed light on the urgency of rethinking our agriculture and our food but also she will tell us about the difficulty of transforming an industry as secular, especially when you are a woman.
